Position Overview

As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of complex production programs. Responsibilities

Qualifications

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Previous company approval on at least one of the engine types listed above.
  • Hands-on experience in a busy engine shop, working on engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
  • Familiarity with engine shop manuals and regulatory standards, including relevant ATA chapters.
  • Understanding of Part 145 and FAA regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Borescope inspection experience is desirable.
  • Current Human Factors training, EWIS Level 1 & 2, and Fuel Tank Safety Level 1 & 2 preferred (training can be provided).
  • Forklift license is desirable, but training can be arranged.

Job Duties:

  • This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads. Candidate will work in close partnership with the field airlines, flight crew and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
  • The candidate will ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair different transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Interior Technicians in Indianapolis, Indiana to support VIP aircraft completions for one of the world’s most respected aviation brands. Position Summary:

The Aircraft Interior Technician installs high-end aircraft interior components with minimal supervision. From lavatories and galleys to divans and bulkheads, you’ll work on complex VIP cabin configurations to meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install a wide range of fabricated interior components including galleys, closets, divans, lavatories, panels, side ledges, trim, carpets, and cabinetry
  • Interpret material specifications and engineering drawings to ensure installations meet design specifications and safety standards
  • Proactively request materials to maintain workflow and production schedules
  • Complete documentation and regulatory paperwork in compliance with FAA and RSQM requirements
  • Follow safety procedures and properly handle tools and equipment
  • Understand and apply company installation procedures, process specifications, and industry best practices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school is a plus
  • Minimum 6 years of aircraft interior installation experience, preferably in a VIP or business aviation completions environment
  • Advanced understanding of the aircraft interior installation process
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Desired Skills & Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of aircraft interior structures and installation techniques
  • Understanding of FAA and RSQM compliance standards
  • Proficient with basic computer applications and maintenance documentation systems
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process improvement practices
  • Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic

Work Environment:

This role is based in an aircraft hangar and completions facility. The work environment involves exposure to loud noise, changing temperatures, and occasional physical labor. Technicians must be comfortable working around machinery, hazardous materials, and within tight aircraft interiors.
