Position Summary

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural modifications including WiFi installations, winglet installations, interior modifications, and avionics system modifications and installations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience performing heavy structural modifications on commercial or large regional aircraft required

  • Must successfully pass a written and hands-on assessment test

Job Description

Examine, repair, assemble, and test aircraft accessories such as engines, power brake units, auxiliary electric motors, carburetors, spark igniters, valves, pumps, fuselage, wings, and oil and fuel tanks using hand tools and testing devices while following shop orders and manufacturer specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections or special maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft mechanical systems and components
  • Conduct operations checks on hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, plumbing, precision assemblies, rigging and controls
  • Determine when components should be repaired or replaced and secure necessary parts from Stores or departmental supplies
  • Repair, rework, and modify worn or defective assemblies, making alterations or changes as needed
  • Follow approved maintenance procedures, consulting FAA-approved internal procedures, OEM technical data, and work package instructions
  • Consult the Maintenance Lead if technical assistance is required during repairs
  • Inspect completed work before sign off, perform rework, and ensure repaired components meet standards and tolerances
  • Perform serviceability tests on repaired components/systems using OEM-specified test equipment
  • Complete work package documentation by signing/stamping after finishing all designated operations
  • Submit completed/in-progress work to Maintenance Lead and Quality Assurance for review and re-certification of airworthiness
  • Provide supervisor with performance statistics and operational data, as requested
  • Accurately account for time and materials used in all inspection and maintenance activities

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • FAA A&P License

Experience

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required
  • No prior professional experience necessary — recent graduates and newly licensed A&Ps are encouraged to apply
  • Willingness to learn OEM technical data and work package instructions through on-the-job training
  • Basic familiarity with standard hand tools; all additional training provided

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong technical knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance

Position Summary:

The A&P Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of the maintenance operations of our customers and ensures an outstanding experience by providing top level service.

Responsibilities:

  • This position reports directly to the Station Manager, and works in close partnership with the field Airlines, Flight Crew and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
  • Ensures aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair different transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity.
  • Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results, following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation.
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear, and repair or replace as required.
  • Other duties as may be deemed necessary.
  • Able to work outdoors and in inclement weather as required.  Work will be performed on the Airbus 319/320/321 Boeing 717/737   Embraer 145/175   CRJ200/700/900

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions
  • Own Set Of Standard Line Maintenance Tool (Calibrated & Specialty Tooling Will Be Provided).
  • Self-Motivated with positive attitude and able to perform with minimal supervision.   Must be able to work standing, must be able to climb ladders and stairs,  and must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to pass background check/drug & alcohol test and Customs & Border Patrol Clearance
  • Basic To Mid-Level Computer & Organizational Skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

Position Summary

As an Aircraft Maintenance Estimator, you will maintain the maintenance quotation database, review technical documentation, and provide technical support to sales teams. This position requires strong aircraft maintenance knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into accurate estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent and accurate specifications and pricing to support new business and planning teams
  • Maintain and update maintenance quotation templates and databases
  • Develop competitive quotes that meet defined profit margin goals
  • Review technical data such as service bulletins, engineering orders, task cards, and aircraft drawings to support quotation development
  • Collaborate with department managers to gather information on labor and materials required
  • Partner with the Director of Planning and Business Development team for quote presentations
  • Deliver detailed quotations including labor, materials, and tooling requirements
  • Forecast task-by-task labor hours using MPD, AMM, SRM, and SB references

Qualifications

Role Overview

As a Logistics Goods Receipt Operative, you will be responsible for managing goods receipt, performing internal quality checks, supporting inventory and stock control, and maintaining high service levels across the STS’ logistics network. You will also provide backup support to the Stock Controller, help train new staff, and contribute to process improvements that ensure operational readiness and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all STS logistic processes are followed at all times.
  • Identify and advise on potential process improvement when applicable.
  • Attend team planning and review meetings when required to do so.
  • Conduct internal logistic assurance checks as per the STS logistic assurance programme.
  • Attend the daily work allocation briefs with logistic management.
  • Ensure parts quarantine procedures are conducted as per SOPs and direction given.
  • Ensure handover briefs are prepared and conducted at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure that all emails to BHX logistics are dealt with in a timely manner and on the day of receipt.
  • Escalate all concerns to Logistic Management at the point of awareness.
  • Conduct all work safely and in accordance with procedures and training and direction given.
  • Conduct logistic deliveries when required to do so, including suppliers and other STS sites.
  • Manage the parts shortage sheet when required to do so.
  • Achieve BPSSB and if required to do so SC clearance.
  • Conduct goods in receipt process at Unit 9/10 to include parts inspection (condition, quantity and certification).
  • Collate and Kit parts for dispatch to BHX Hangar 5.
  • Safely move kits and parts from Unit 9/10 complex to BHX Main Hangar.
  • Safely move kits and parts from Unit 9/10 complex airside to BHX Main Hangar.
  • Use appropriate WMS and company software required to support STS operations.
  • Conduct RTS operations and management to include physical movement of stock back to Unit 9/10.

Accountabilities:

  • Deputise for Logistic stock Controller during periods of absence when required to do so.
  • Liaise with Boeing daily to ensure constant operational effectiveness.
  • Manage KPI and regular reporting during periods of absence.
  • Facilitate logistic assurance programme checks when required to do so.
  • Support and conduct on the job staff training to ensure new staff receive the appropriate training to support their roles.
  • Ensure that staff training requirements and qualifications are escalated to the Logistic Manger or Stock Controller.
  • Undertake regular competency checks to ensure compliance and ability to conduct logistic tasks.
  • Use MHE (Forklift truck and variants) when trained and required to do so.
  • Practice safe working in accordance with direction given, SOPs and risk assessments

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant demonstrable experience of logistics operations
  • UK Full driving licence
  • A good understanding of process development within the logistic sector
  • A good understanding of calibration management principles and processes
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a commercial environment
