Position Overview:

The Aircraft Painter is in charge of aircraft and its sub assemblies painting and sealing process including surface preparation, masking, and chemicals handling.  May include limited duties of paint and sealant application.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare surfaces to be painted or sealed as requested by the working instructions using abrasives, solvents, and brushes.
  • Installs masking for strips or other aircraft painting detail.
  • May perform sealant application assuring compliance with technical and quality requirements.
  • May assist with application or installation of logos, symbols, or designs on painted surfaces, according to blueprint specifications, using measuring instruments, stencils, and patterns.
  • Ensures the use of appropriate technical references and tools in performing paint and sealing duties.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of all currently used painting or sealing equipment.
  • Sets up ladders, and scaffolding according to regulations and aircraft requirement.
  • Ensures all Federal and local environmental and OSHA/TOSHA regulations are complied with.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Generally 1-3 years of related and recent experience in aeronautical environment.
  • High School or GED familiar
  • Knowledge of preparation and painting of aircraft, support equipment, and allied components.
  • Safety procedures for Chemicals handling.
  • Knowledge of blueprints and painting diagrams.
  • Strong ability on paint spraying
  • Understand technical management and quality assurance procedures.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State, and Federal regulations.
  • Must be able to be respirator qualified.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and special maintenance inspections on aircraft electrical and avionics systems

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current A&P License or FAA Repairman Certificate in Avionics required
  • FCC License preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of one year of actual and recent depot-level aircraft avionics experience required
  • Experience repairing electrical systems, flight control systems, instrumentation, and wiring
  • Proficiency interpreting avionics and electrical wiring diagrams
  • Experience with wire identification, harness fabrication, cables, fittings, circuits, and connectors
  • Executive jet repair facility experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures using measuring instruments, blueprint lines, and index points

  • Inspect and test installed units, parts, and equipment for compliance with performance and safety standards
  • Install units, parts, and components in structural assembly using hand and power tools
  • Locate and mark reference points for installation of parts using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments
  • Provide information and documentation for engineering requests
  • Comply with repair station procedures (RSM/QCM) and company policies (SOP) during all maintenance work

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • A&P and/or structures experience preferred
  • Repairman’s certificate may substitute for A&P

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred
  • Proven aircraft structures repair experience with the ability to use technical data and aircraft drawings to accomplish repairs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Position Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and special maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft mechanical systems and components
  • Perform complete operational checks on hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, plumbing, precision assemblies, rigging, controls, and related systems
  • Determine whether components should be repaired or replaced
  • Identify the proper repair scheme, parts quantity, and parts type needed to complete assigned maintenance
  • Secure required parts from Stores or departmental supplies
  • Repair, rework, and modify worn or defective assemblies
  • Make alterations or changes to aircraft units when required
  • Follow approved maintenance procedures for assigned components or systems
  • Consult FAA-approved internal procedures, OEM technical data, and work package instructions
  • Consult the Maintenance Lead when technical assistance is needed during the repair process
  • Inspect completed work before sign-off to identify any required rework
  • Perform rework as needed and ensure repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances
  • Perform serviceability tests on repaired components and systems using OEM-specified test equipment
  • Complete work package documentation by signing or stamping after all designated operations are finished
  • Submit completed and in-progress work to the Maintenance Lead for review
  • Submit completed and in-progress work to Quality Assurance for inspection and re-certification of airworthiness
  • Provide supervisors with performance statistics and operational data as requested
  • Properly account for time and materials used in all inspection and maintenance activities

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid A&P License required
  • 2 to 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience required
  • Experience with small aircraft or general aviation required
  • Training in one aircraft type preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency working on aircraft systems and components

Position Summary

The Aircraft Avionics Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, adjusting, and repairing avionics and electrical systems on aircraft. This includes radar, radio, navigation, communication, and control systems. The role supports maintenance, modification, and repair activity while ensuring compliance with approved technical data and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  • Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic system malfunctions and performance issues
  • Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components and assemblies using hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and soldering irons
  • Set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform functional testing of avionics systems
  • Assemble electrical components including switches, controls, junction boxes, and wiring assemblies
  • Connect avionics components such as radio systems, instruments, magnetos, inverters, and related systems
  • Lay out and perform installations using blueprints, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation
  • Interpret test and performance data to diagnose system malfunctions
  • Coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and other maintenance personnel
  • Fabricate parts, components, and test aids as required
  • Assemble prototypes or models of circuits, instruments, and systems for testing
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and inspection records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  • MRO experience preferred but not required
  • Must provide own tools
  • Ability to use company timekeeping systems and intranet tools
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet company priorities

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to crawl in and out of confined spaces
  • Ability to work in a prone position for extended periods exceeding four hours
  • Comfortable working at elevated heights of up to 40 feet
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in enclosed hangars and outdoor weather conditions
  • Comfortable working in close proximity to other personnel
