Position Overview

The King Air Aircraft Mechanic will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing and repair of aircraft systems and components, with an emphasis on King Air and other turboprop aircraft.

This position requires at least eight years of aircraft maintenance experience, a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and the ability to lead maintenance projects while maintaining strict standards for safety, documentation, regulatory compliance and workmanship.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Aircraft Tooling Expeditor manages aircraft tooling and ground support equipment across assigned maintenance locations. This position maintains strict tool accountability, oversees calibration and quarantine processes, coordinates vendor repairs and supports inventory control, audits and overall tooling readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate tooling records in TRAX, including tool check-in and check-out transactions, binning, quarantine logging, repair orders and transfer orders
  • Generate, review and act on calibration reports to ensure calibrated tools remain compliant and available for maintenance operations
  • Create, process and track tooling requisitions and transfers while maintaining full traceability from request through fulfillment
  • Conduct physical inspections of tooling to verify availability, serviceability, proper tagging, storage and accurate system status
  • Manage quarantine processes, including defect review, repair order creation, vendor coordination and scrapping activities
  • Coordinate receiving, inspection, shipment, repair and calibration activities with external vendors

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Representatives in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Position Summary:

To manage, direct and control FedEx heavy maintenance, modification and conversion programs at maintenance provider facilities to ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with the FedEx maintenance, modification and conversion specifications, schedule, configuration requirements and quality standards. Ensures all programs and work performed are in full compliance with the contractual requirements and the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Represents the Company as the project leader for all activities from an aircraft heavy maintenance, modification and conversion viewpoint at assigned maintenance provider facilities.
  • Coordinates company instructions and manages and controls the execution of maintenance, modification and conversion programs and makes final decisions regarding the induction and redelivery of aircraft from heavy maintenance, modifications and/or conversion visits at maintenance provider facilities.
  • Makes timely decisions regarding the repair or replacement of parts or components and the correction of all discrepancies noted during the scheduled maintenance, modification or conversion visits and assures airworthiness of aircraft redelivered to FedEx after work is accomplished at contract maintenance providers and signs airworthiness release as required.
  • Monitors contract maintenance providers for all hours expended, material issued and ground equipment required during the maintenance, modification or conversion visit and reviews all invoices for accuracy and negotiates and approves proposed hours to ensure FedEx is invoiced for fair and reasonable hours for the work performed and to ensure that the visits are performed within the specified budget.
  • Reviews FedEx heavy maintenance, modification and conversion maintenance packages as assigned to the maintenance provider, anticipates problems and recommends and coordinates possible solutions with the maintenance provider, other departments within FedEx and heavy maintenance and conversions management.
  • Ensures the successful flow of pertinent information between the appropriate departments within FedEx, the contract maintenance providers, flight crews and others associated with the heavy maintenance, modification and conversion of FedEx aircraft to ensure a complete understanding of the maintenance, modification and conversion specifications, requirements, policies and procedures and contractual arrangements.
  • Assures all heavy maintenance, modification and conversions performed by contract maintenance providers on FedEx aircraft are completed in a timely manner to minimize aircraft out of service time and that the appropriate FedEx departments are provided an accurate and timely status report of the aircraft in work.
  • Provides on-site review and surveillance of airworthiness directives and ensures all documentation is accounted for and recorded in the aircraft history as required per the FedEx GMM and the maintenance provider contract.
  • Maintains open communications and a good working relationship with the assigned maintenance providers to ensure all issues related to production, quality, safety, legal fitness, and cost control are identified, communicated, and addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • At aircraft delivery to the maintenance provider facility, coordinates the debrief of the aircraft to the maintenance provider by the FedEx flight crew and coordinates with FedEx test flight personnel after completion of the assigned heavy maintenance, modification or conversion work and provides all pertinent documentation re: the work performed prior to ground and flight tests and ensures that all discrepancies discovered during the FedEx ground and flight acceptance tests are corrected.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience plus five (5) years’ relevant experience in Aircraft Heavy Maintenance project and process planning and management
  • Knowledge of cross functional departmental processes preferred
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple projects
  • Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal skills with ability to effectively multi-task
  • Comprehensive computer skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Business Objects
  • Comprehensive presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Valid A&P License Required
  • 757 aircraft experience required

As an Aircraft Structures Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the structural integrity of aircraft. You will support repair and modification projects, read and interpret aircraft blueprints, and ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft and components
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for structural work
  • Take full ownership of assigned structural projects and deliver quality results
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Control Manual and FAA regulations
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations
  • Safeguard customer aircraft, components, and parts at all times
  • Comply with all Federal, OSHA, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
  • Perform additional duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred (Airframe-only also accepted)
  • 3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience with a focus on structural repair and modification
  • King Air and/or Citation aircraft experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with flight control surface repairs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance (AOA badge)
  • Strong working knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145

Tank Tigers, an STS Aviation Group company, is hiring an Aircraft Fuel Systems Inspector to support aircraft maintenance and quality control operations in Wilmington, Ohio. This role places experienced aviation inspection professionals at the center of aircraft maintenance quality assurance, ensuring all fuel system maintenance and repair work meets strict regulatory and safety standards.

The Aircraft Fuel Systems Inspector works within the Quality Control department and plays a critical role in verifying airworthiness, conducting inspections, and supporting maintenance teams throughout the aircraft repair and maintenance process. Candidates must be highly detail oriented, knowledgeable in aviation regulations, and capable of working in fast paced maintenance environments.

Position Overview

The Aircraft Fuel Systems Inspector supports aircraft maintenance operations by performing detailed inspections throughout the maintenance process. This role ensures all work performed on aircraft fuel systems complies with FAA regulations, company procedures, and industry best practices.

Inspectors work closely with production supervisors, maintenance personnel, and quality leadership to maintain the highest standards of safety, documentation, and operational compliance.

Department Information

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with production supervisory personnel to determine daily inspection priorities
  • Perform receiving inspections on incoming parts and components as authorized by the Director of Quality
  • Conduct incoming, preliminary, in process, and final aircraft inspections
  • Perform in process audits and internal audits as required
  • Initiate Suspect Unapproved Parts reports when necessary
  • Initiate Service Difficulty Reports as required
  • Provide and document On the Job Training (OJT) for inspection personnel and maintenance technicians when required
  • Ensure shift turnover reports clearly communicate all relevant operational information and are completed and filed daily
  • Maintain accurate inspection documentation and operational records
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Quality

Work Environment

  • Work performed in and around aircraft undergoing maintenance or alteration
  • Hangar and ramp work environment
  • Fast paced and potentially high stress operational environment
  • Some travel may be required

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Must be certificated under 14 CFR Part 65
  • Minimum of 4 years aviation inspection experience
  • Must be familiar with applicable aviation regulations and inspection procedures
  • Must be proficient with inspection methods, techniques, tools, and equipment used in aviation maintenance inspections
  • Must be able to speak, read, understand, and write English
