Job Summary:

Examines, repairs, assembles, and tests aircraft accessories, such as engines, power brake units, auxiliary electric motors, spark igniters, valves, pumps, fuselage, wings, and oil and fuel tanks, using hand tools and testing devices, and following shop orders and manufacturer’s specifications.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in at least one aircraft type.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine inspections or special maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft mechanical systems and components; performs complete operations checks on hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, plumbing, precision assemblies, rigging and controls, etc.
  • Determines when a component should be repaired or replaced; decides upon necessary repair scheme, quantity and type of parts needed to accomplish proper repair; secures necessary parts from Stores or departmental supplies.
  • Repairs, reworks, and modifies worn or defective assemblies, making alterations or changes to units when necessary.
  • Follows approved maintenance procedures for subject component or system, consulting internal procedures that have been FAA approved, original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM’s) technical data, and work package instructions.
  • Consults the Maintenance Lead if technical assistance is needed during the repair process.
  • Inspects completed work before sign off to identify any needed rework; performs rework; ensures that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.
  • Performs serviceability tests on repaired components/systems using test equipment specified by the original equipment manufacturer.
  • Completes work package documentation by signing/stamping after finishing all designated operations.
  • Submits completed/in-progress work to Maintenance Lead for review; submits to Quality Assurance for final/in-progress inspection and re-certification of airworthiness.
  • Provides supervisor with performance statistics and other operational data, as requested.

Position Summary

The Aircraft Welder performs complex welding tasks on aircraft structural components, fabricates aircraft shoring fixtures, and designs or repairs facility equipment and tooling. Job Responsibilities

  • Use hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components and fill holes, indentations, or seams
  • Perform aircraft structural welding on exotic metals
  • Design and build aircraft shoring fixtures and tooling
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Clamp, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to required configurations

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • AWS Certification preferred, especially D17.1

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of welding experience required

  • Knowledge of blow torches, welding torches, mobile welding units, welding masks, rod ovens, storage ovens, hot boxes, and welding guns

Position Summary:

STS Line Maintenance is looking for highly motivated A&P Mechanics to help us grow our line maintenance station in Orlando, FL. The A&P Mechanic job will find you supporting the daily needs of the aircraft maintenance operations for our customers while ensuring an outstanding experience by providing top-level service.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads. Candidate will work in close partnership with the field airlines, flight crew and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
  • The candidate will ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair different transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity.
  • Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results while following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation.
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required.
  • Other duties as may be deemed necessary.
  • Able to work outdoors and in inclement weather as required.
  • Work will be performed on Airbus A320 aircraft

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certifications (A&P) with no history of infractions.
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft considered a plus.
  • Previous experience on Commercial and Large Regional aircraft is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling will be provided).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude while being able to perform your job with minimal supervision.
  • With or without accommodations, employees must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs and must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to pass background check as well as drug & alcohol test. In addition, he / she must be able to obtain customs & border patrol clearance.
  • Must have basic-to-mid-level computer & organizational skills.
  • Experience working under a FAA approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired.
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
  • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing, or replacing, malfunctioning and/or damaged components.
  • Ability to work with little supervision while being able to trouble shoot and repair systems on aircraft airframes and engine(s). This includes electrical, mechanical and hydraulic.
  • Versatility and flexibility will be important as the schedule could include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

This is a critical position responsible for ensuring all aircraft maintenance meets the highest regulatory and safety standards. If you’re a licensed A&P professional with CRJ airframe expertise and a strong background in inspections under FAR 145, 121, or 135—or in military environments—this role offers long-term stability and industry-respected experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed aircraft inspections in compliance with FAR 145, 121, 135, or equivalent military standards
  • Conduct inspections on commercial and/or military aircraft, with a focus on CRJ airframes
  • Apply knowledge of MRO and heavy maintenance operations to ensure quality and compliance
  • Use and interpret a wide range of precision measurement instruments and calibrated tooling
  • Read and interpret engineering documents, blueprints, and maintenance manuals

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of inspection experience in aircraft maintenance under FAR 145, 121, 135, or military equivalent

  • MRO and heavy maintenance background required
  • Proven ability to use and interpret precision measuring tools and specialty inspection equipment
