Position Overview

A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Technical Representative to support a major aircraft maintenance project in Slovenia. This role will serve as the primary on-site liaison between the Company, the airline customer, and the MRO provider throughout the duration of the project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of scheduled base maintenance activities, coordinating technical and commercial interfaces, managing work approvals, facilitating material support, reconciling project costs, and driving the overall success of the maintenance programme.

This position extends beyond traditional technical representative responsibilities and requires active management of both Company-MRO and Company-Airline contractual relationships, ensuring alignment of technical, operational, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary on-site liaison between the Company, the airline customer, and the MRO
  • Review, negotiate, and approve maintenance tasks associated with scheduled base checks
  • Monitor maintenance progress and support resolution of technical and operational issues
  • Coordinate parts requirements, material support activities, and logistics to minimize project disruptions

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing aircraft base maintenance checks, including task negotiation and approval activities

  • Familiarity with OEM maintenance manuals and technical documentation
  • Experience working directly with airlines, MRO organisations, and maintenance providers
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced maintenance environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience serving as an on-site Technical Representative, Maintenance Representative, or Maintenance Project Representative
  • Experience managing commercial and contractual aspects of maintenance projects
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, work scope control, and cost management processes

STS Technical Services is hiring Sr. A&P Mechanics in Pompano Beach, Florida. In this role, you will perform and lead advanced aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and documentation in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, Repair Station Manual requirements, and Quality Control Manual procedures.

This position is ideal for an experienced A&P Mechanic with turbine-powered aircraft maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor junior mechanics in a high-performance aircraft maintenance environment.

Position Overview

The Sr. A&P Mechanic serves as a technical expert and working leader within the maintenance operation. This role is responsible for advanced aircraft maintenance work, complex repairs and modifications, system diagnostics, documentation accuracy, and support of junior mechanics through coaching, training, and oversight.

The successful candidate will bring progressive aviation maintenance experience, strong knowledge of FAA requirements, experience with turbine-powered aircraft, and the ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.

Primary Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead advanced maintenance, repairs, and inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications, including IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, and related technical data
  • Serve as a technical expert and mentor to junior mechanics by providing guidance, coaching, and oversight on maintenance procedures and best practices
  • Train, support, and develop junior mechanics while contributing to a strong team-oriented maintenance environment
  • Conduct detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting of airframe structures, powerplants, and aircraft systems
  • Oversee and execute complex repairs and modifications, including component overhaul, system calibration, and structural repairs
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
  • Maintain accurate logbook entries and ensure proper documentation of all maintenance performed
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Service Management to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency
  • Promote and maintain safe work practices while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance operation

Qualifications & Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
  • Inspection Authorization strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive aviation maintenance experience required
  • Demonstrated expertise in turbine-powered aircraft required
  • TBM aircraft or other turboprop experience strongly preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, mechanical, and avionics skills required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision
  • Engine run and taxi experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of aviation maintenance software and digital documentation tools required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical training or associate degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

In this role, you’ll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on TBM and Kodiak aircraft at a certified Part 145 Repair Station. Position Overview

As an A&P Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining airframe, powerplant, and propeller systems in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications. You’ll work with a skilled team, interpreting technical data, performing system diagnostics, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of  aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform airframe, engine, and propeller inspections, repairs, and modifications to FAA and company standards
  • Use FAA-approved data, including IPC, AMM, OHM, and CMM manuals
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and components
  • Remove, disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed
  • Operate power tools and ground support equipment
  • Complete all maintenance records and work orders accurately and in accordance with Repair Station and Quality Control procedures
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals
  • Tow, park, and reposition aircraft as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including routine shop upkeep
  • Travel as needed to support aircraft service requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work from elevated surfaces
  • Must be able to work with hands extended overhead

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
  • 8+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience
  • Experience with TBM or Kodiak aircraft preferred
  • Familiarity with PT6 engines is a strong advantage
  • Must have own tools
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems and FAA compliance
  • Must be eligible to work legally in the United States
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license required
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
