Essential Job Functions

  • Perform aircraft mechanic duties that require an advanced level of knowledge, training of junior-level technicians, or troubleshooting repairs.

  • Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand tools and power tools.

  • Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, and hydraulic units.
  • Test engine and system operations using testing equipment and listen to engine sounds to detect and diagnose malfunctions.
  • Remove engine from aircraft or install engine using hoist or forklift truck.
  • Disassemble and/or modify aircraft structures, systems, or components following drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications.
  • Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.
  • Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling when required.
  • Work independently on projects when required.

Job Requirements

Education

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Associate’s Degree in Aviation Technology preferred along with aircraft model-specific training

Experience

  • At least 1 year of current experience maintaining, inspecting, servicing, and repairing corporate aircraft (Corporate or Military experience preferred)
  • Must possess a valid FAA A&P License
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience in Aviation Maintenance Software programs preferred

Attendance

  • Must have regular attendance and be able to work overtime when needed
  • May be required to work alternate shifts as determined by aircraft schedules and manpower needs

Compliance

  • Valid driver’s license and US Passport (preferred)
