Position Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will support the design, development, testing, and production of commercial vehicle components and systems. This role requires hands-on problem solving, technical analysis, and the ability to communicate engineering solutions across departments. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and innovative, capable of delivering practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical control systems, components, and vehicle subsystems
  • Create and test 3D models and 2D schematics using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Supervise manufacturing and installation of mechanical systems and components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality and performance requirements
  • Research and implement new manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Conduct system evaluations and participate in failure analysis and troubleshooting
  • Generate bills of material (BOM), product documentation, part specifications, and CAD files
  • Train and oversee technicians during prototype builds and testing procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies
  • Translate complex technical ideas into clear, written engineering documentation
  • Remain current on industry trends and best practices through workshops, publications, and networking

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and control systems
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred) and 2D AutoCAD drafting
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize component-level and system-level designs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of robotics, lean manufacturing, and product development life cycle
  • Comfort with algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and mechanical design calculations

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering disciplines
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks, Catia V5, or Pro-E

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role with occasional time spent in production or warehouse settings
  • Required PPE includes safety shoes, safety glasses, and high-visibility vest per site protocols

  • This position reports to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads
  • Work closely with airline partners, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers

  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity at all times

  • Own a standard set of line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tools provided)
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, able to perform duties with minimal supervision

  • Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
  • Able to obtain U.S. Customs and Border Patrol clearance

The A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of the maintenance operations for our customers and ensures an outstanding experience by providing top-level service.

Position Overview:

  • This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads. Candidate will work in close partnership with the field airlines, flight crew and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
  • The candidate will ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair different transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.

  • Recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft considered a plus.
  • Previous experience on the A320 family, 737, Embraer 170/190, CRJ 200/700/900 is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling will be provided).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude while being able to perform your job with minimal supervision.

Rate of Pay:

  • Rate of pay is determined by previous experience and formal training.  Starting pay rates will range between $32-$40 DOE
  • Yearly raises are available upon evaluation.

  • Full Time: PTO, Health Insurance, 401K. No Benefits for Part Time.
