Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented welders who want consistent hours and the opportunity to grow with an expanding, privately held manufacturing company. You’ll be responsible for MIG welding fuel tanks and I-beam frames using flat, vertical, and overhead welding positions.

Responsibilities

  • MIG weld I-beam frames and fuel tanks ranging from 10-gauge to ½ inch steel
  • Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Use clamps, hoists, cranes, and hand tools to secure and position workpieces
  • Tack-weld, grind, and bolt components into place
  • Read and interpret blueprints to complete projects accurately
  • Inspect welded products for quality, defects, and compliance with specifications

Requirements

  • Ability to read and use measuring tools, especially a tape measure
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints (critical to success in this role)
  • GMAW (MIG/MAG) welding experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
  • Must pass a hands-on welding competency test and pre-employment physical, including drug screening
