  • Control, segregate, and maintain stock and tools as serviceable or unserviceable
  • Arrange proper disposal of surplus materials
  • Preserve inventory items subject to deterioration
  • Maintain a clean and organized stock room
  • Follow safety and HAZMAT handling protocols
  • Issue parts, materials, and tooling to technicians as requested
  • Deliver materials to shop areas using forklifts, dollies, and other devices
  • Perform inventory transactions and periodic counts to ensure record accuracy
  • Prepare usage and inventory reports for management review
  • Trace and expedite urgent shipments
  • Prepare, package, label, and ship materials to vendors and customers
  • Prepare bills of lading and maintain shipping documentation
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Suggest process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Protect confidential and proprietary information

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, or Aerospace preferred

Employees performing the same job function for three or more years are considered qualified regardless of diploma documentation.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, or aviation materials management
  • Aerospace or aviation shipping and receiving experience preferred
  • Experience handling, storing, and distributing spare parts, tools, and technical publications
  • Two or more years of aerospace purchasing experience preferred
  • English fluency required
  • HAZMAT knowledge required
  • Forklift experience required
  • Executive jets, corporate repair station, or military MRO experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of shipping and receiving techniques
  • Knowledge of aircraft parts and tooling
  • Understanding of purchasing techniques and inventory practices
  • Proficiency in basic office software including MS Excel
  • Familiarity with inventory systems
  • DOT HAZMAT certification preferred
  • Forklift training required
  • Valid driver’s license required

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Federal regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as required
  • Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
