Job Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on interior assemblies and subassemblies such as seats, cabinets, panels, partitions, divan, and In-flight entertainment equipment.
  • Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed while following appropriate clean-as-you go shop practices.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
  • Follows approved assembly procedures for component or aircraft structures, consulting internal procedures that have been FAA approved, original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) technical data, and work package instructions.
  • Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points.
  • Inspects completed work to identify any needed rework before signing off; ensures that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.
  • Performs serviceability tests utilizing test equipment specified in technical manuals.
  • Completes work package documentation per FAA and/or repair station manual.
  • Submits completed work to Quality Assurance for final/in progress inspection and certification of airworthiness.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School/ GED
  • A&P and mechanical / electrical experience a plus
  • Structures experience a plus.

Experience:

  • Generally 1-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
  • Requiring Basic Skills to perform basic tasks within the Technical Area assigned to in area of responsibility with assembly, mechanical, electrical or aircraft structures as well as able to use all tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Position Summary:

STS Line Maintenance is looking for highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Professionals to help us grow our line maintenance station in Milwaukee, WI (MKE).  The A&P Aviation Maintenance Technician supports the daily needs of the maintenance operations for our customers and ensures an outstanding experience by providing top-level service.

STS Line Maintenance is one of the largest line maintenance support providers in the United States, and we pride ourselves in providing high quality and reliable aircraft maintenance support  throughout our extensive, rapid-response, nation-wide network.

Position Responsibilities:

  • This position reports directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads. Candidate will work in close partnership with the field airlines, flight crew and other Aircraft Maintenance Controllers.
  • The candidate will ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies and best practices.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust and repair different transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity.
  • Adjust, repair or replace defective components based on analysis of test results while following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks and other technical documentation.
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required.
  • Other duties as may be deemed necessary.
  • Able to work outdoors and in inclement weather as required.
  • Work will be performed on various Commercial and Large Regional aircraft, including but not limited to the Airbus A320, CRJ, and Embraer 170

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certifications  (A&P) with no history of infractions.
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft considered a plus.
  • Previous experience on the A320 family, 737,757, 767, Embraer 170/190, CRJ 200/700/900 is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling will be provided).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude while being able to perform your job with minimal supervision.
  • With or without accommodations, employees must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs and must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to pass background check as well as drug & alcohol test. In addition, he / she must be able to obtain customs & border patrol clearance.
  • Must have basic-to-mid-level computer & organizational skills.
  • Experience working under a FAA approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired.

STS Technical Services is hiring a Security Concierge to join the team supporting Embraer Executive Jets Headquarters in Melbourne, Florida. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role responsible for representing the Embraer brand while supporting a range of administrative, security, and operational tasks. Position Summary:

The Security Concierge plays a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and professional experience of all employees, customers, and guests on-site. This individual will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors, managing badging and access control systems, and supporting both daily operations and emergency response activities. The position also serves as the first point of contact for a range of customer and vendor interactions and is expected to maintain a business-professional appearance at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare correspondence for management and support workflow documentation
  • Monitor access control and CCTV systems to ensure compliance and site security
  • Manage the Visitor Management System (VMS), including screening and badging processes
  • Assist Emergency Services during on-site incidents
  • Support crisis response and preparation efforts in collaboration with the CSO
  • Maintain data integrity across security-related databases
  • Coordinate non-U.S. employee visits with Legal and Mobility departments
  • Conduct access control training for employees
  • Manage security cost center invoices and facilitate purchasing through SAP
  • Engage with customers and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to a business professional dress code
  • Host internal events and support guest experiences
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing or administrative role
  • Previous law enforcement, military, or security experience is a plus
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in international or intercultural environments is preferred
