Position Overview

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing onboarding documentation, employment verification, and drug and alcohol compliance processes for contract employees. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all pre-employment requirements meet FAA, government, and company standards.

You will work closely with internal teams, field employees, and external partners to maintain accurate records, ensure compliance, and support a smooth hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process all new hire electronic onboarding documents for field employees across all divisions
  • Contact previous employers to verify employment history and job titles
  • Ensure all FAA, government, and company-required onboarding documentation is completed accurately
  • Verify completion of background checks and permanent bar checks in compliance with FAA regulations
  • Process and respond to employment verification and drug and alcohol verification requests for current and former employees
  • Coordinate with new hires to obtain required documentation in a timely manner
  • Serve as a resource for internal teams, clients, and field employees regarding compliance, onboarding, and documentation processes
  • Maintain high standards of compliance with federal aviation regulations and company policies

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise aircraft fuel tank maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration tasks in accordance with FAA regulations
  • Ensure continuity of maintenance activities and proper shift turnover documentation
  • Verify all maintenance is performed in accordance with applicable technical data and company procedures
  • Ensure confined space entry procedures are properly executed and monitored
  • Confirm appropriate tools, equipment, and maintenance data are used for all assigned work
  • Assign tasks only to personnel with the proper experience, training, and qualifications
  • Train, assist, and supervise technicians in proper maintenance practices and procedures
  • Serve as a technical resource for consultation and guidance on maintenance activities
  • Ensure only qualified mechanics sign off on completed work
  • Review and verify accuracy of maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensure all on-the-job training is documented and submitted to the Training Department
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and shop areas
  • Ensure proper handling and control of parts during and after maintenance
  • Ensure all required tags and forms are properly completed and attached
  • Oversee completion of customer requirements for supplied parts
  • Delegate duties to qualified personnel while maintaining overall accountability
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facility Manager
  • Maintain awareness of applicable FAA regulations including Parts 14, 65, and 43
  • Work a flexible schedule and operate in confined space environments as required

Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required
  • Minimum of 4 years of aircraft systems maintenance experience
  • Must meet qualification requirements under RSM Section 4.6.9
  • Must meet supervisory qualification requirements under 14 CFR 145.153
  • Strong knowledge of fuel tank maintenance practices, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Ability to supervise, train, and mentor maintenance personnel
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and physically demanding environments

Preferred Skills

  • FAA A&P License with demonstrated ability to train and mentor technicians
  • Must have the ability to work with maintenance managers of all levels
  • Must be computer literate, and able to competently utilize basic software packages

  • Work will be performed on various Commercial and Large Regional aircraft, including but not limited to the Airbus A320, CRJ, and Embraer 170.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certifications  (A&P) with no history of infractions.
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine powered aircraft considered a plus.
  • Previous experience on the A320 family, 737, Embraer 170/190, CRJ 200/700/900 is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling will be provided).
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude while being able to perform your job with minimal supervision.
  • With or without accommodations, employees must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs and must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to pass background check as well as drug & alcohol test. In addition, he / she must be able to obtain customs & border patrol clearance.
  • Must have basic-to-mid-level computer & organizational skills.
  • Experience working under a FAA approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired.
  • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing, or replacing, malfunctioning and/or damaged components.
  • Ability to work with little supervision while being able to trouble shoot and repair systems on aircraft airframes and engine(s). This includes electrical, mechanical and hydraulic.
  • Versatility and flexibility will be important as the schedule could include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Rate of Pay:

  • Rate of pay is determined by previous experience and formal training.  Starting pay rates will range between $36-$40 DOE

Position Summary

The Aircraft Production Control Supervisor reports directly to the Manager of Planning and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Production Control system. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
  • Minimum of six years of experience in management or supervision of aircraft maintenance operations within an FAA Repair Station environment
  • Thorough working knowledge of FAR Part 145, Part 121, and Part 91 operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Major Responsibilities and Duties

  • Coordinate with Maintenance Planning and Material Control to ensure parts, supplies, and repair plans are in place for aircraft in maintenance

  • Provide customers with timely, accurate, and appropriate maintenance status updates
  • Monitor and evaluate maintenance requirements for progress or issues and adjust workload priorities as necessary

STS Technical Services is hiring Logistics Operators in Nashville, Tennessee.

Job Summary:

Performs a combination of warehouse, shipping and/or receiving tasks, as well as tracks company inventory.

Job Duties:

  • Perform basic tasks in regards to the receiving process
  • Receive inter-company PO’s
  • Perform the Volume and Manifest transactions
  • Research information pertaining to incoming shipments
  • Put away of parts to stock
  • Perform basic tasks in regards to the shipping process
  • Arrange delivery of parts offsite or customer pick up.
  • Generate shipping documentation, including AWB (airway bill), invoice, SLI (Shippers Letters of Instructions) and other;
  • Manual shipments
  • Perform “Skip Lot” and UOM conversions
  • Domestic and International shipping
  • Perform basic tasks in warehouse organization and management
  • Analyze basic material movements to locate parts, serial number, and quantity change.
  • Perform stock transfers and labeling, as well as parts packing and repacking when needed;
  • Perform cycle counts and recounts
  • Return of stock material re-certified/repaired
  • May be required to handle shipping and receiving of hazardous material.
  • Handles emergencies (such as no SAP, parts expediting, panic ticket system)
  • May be required to handle hazardous material documentation, and international paperwork
  • Suggests improvements on activities, processes and tasks

Qualifications:

  • Generally 1-3 years of experience in area of responsibility
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • High School/ GED required
  • Assignments require basic knowledge of a technical or functional area
  • Rapid learning and application of new information and concepts within the functional area takes place
  • Ability to multitask, multi-functional, and a team player
  • Forklift certified and ability to operate machinery and power-tools
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions
  • Knowledge of inventory systems and methods
  • User knowledge of Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Able to navigate through SAP
  • Valid Driver License is required
