STS Technical Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, working for Global Power Components. This role involves detailed electrical design and engineering, including layout, load calculations, and preparation of construction documents. You will be integral in supporting production and enhancing the quality of final products through rigorous testing and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems and perform load calculations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Produce accurate technical drawings, including wiring schematics, conduit layouts, and detailed construction drawings.
  • Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assist in part substitutions with the purchasing department.
  • Generate necessary documentation such as labels and panel schedules for construction.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve design-related queries.

  • Assist in cost estimating for the electrical aspects of projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License with the flexibility to travel occasionally between four Milwaukee area facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with good typing skills.
